Solihull-Maidenhead: Magpies climb to safety as they continue their escape

Maidenhead maintained their position in the National League standings with a 2-1 win over Solihull, who were on a high.

Sam Barratt’s first shot at goal midway through first half was followed by Tobi Sho Silva’s second league goal.

Reece Smith’s long-range shot doubled the Magpies’ lead shortly after halftime.

Solihull made a strong comeback, but Matty warburton’s effort was just too far away.

Mark Beck got the Moors back on track in the 90th minutes when he headed a corner to the left of the goal. But it was not enough as the Moors dropped to 4th and the visiting team moved to 18.
