Manchester United suffered another crushing defeat in Europe as they lost to Copenhagen.
United started their fourth group stage 2023/24 Champions League match extremely well. Rasmus Hojlund scored twice, giving them a 2-goal advantage. The game quickly changed dramatically.
The Red Devils were unable to hold onto their two-goal lead. Bruno Fernandes scored a penalty before Rashford’s dismissal. The visitors were unable to hold on and lost two late goals, leaving them at the bottom.

Man Utd would be eliminated from the competition if they were to draw with Galatasaray. If Bayern wins against Copenhagen in Matchday 5, and Galatasaray draws with Man Utd, then Man Utd will have to win Bayern while hoping for the draw.
