Joao Felix The English Premier League announced Wednesday that Joao Felix, a forward from Atletico Madrid and Portugal has been loaned to Chelsea until the season 2022/23 is over.
Felix stated in a club statement that “Chelsea was one of the greatest teams in the World and I would like to contribute to the team’s goals. I am extremely happy and excited to be at Stamford Bridge.”
Atletico signed the 23-year old for $142m (126m euros) in 2019, the fifth most expensive transfer ever in football’s history.
ix represented Portugal 28 time, and scored a goal in the Qatar World Cup 2022.
Felix is at Stamford Bridge as the Blues are struggling under Graham Potter, and they currently sit 10th in Premier League.
