FPL Gameweek 12, Top Captain Picks

  • You can play up to two wild cards, plus a bench boost and a free strike.
  • Fantasy Football Hub was created to turn FPL managers into FPL champions.
  • Bragging rights are at stake when you compete against friends, colleagues and family members

Fantasy Football Hub was designed to help FPL managers become FPL champions. The Hub’s industry-leading artificial intelligence and the expert team revealers who announce their teams each gameweek are just two of the reasons why tens or thousands of managers get the advantage with it every season. If you join the Hub and don’t succeed in your mini-league you will get all your money back. The Terms and Conditions are applicable.

FPL Gameweek 12 presents another captaincy choice that is wide-open.

Erling Haaland will travel to Chelsea to face a team he has yet to score against. Other favourites Mohamed Salah, and Son Heung Min, are facing Brentford, and Wolves, respectively.

Who should we consider the best picks for FPL Gameweek 12? The best FPL Gameweek 12 captains are based on Fantasy Football Hub’s Predict AI Points Tool.

Erling Haaland

  • Match: Chelsea A; Points predicted, 7.4

AI will continue to support Erling Haaland as captain through thick and thin.

The Norwegian scored two goals in Champions League midweek after only playing half the game against Bournemouth, where he was substituted at the end of the match with one point. The Norwegian is the top scorer (11) in this season’s Champions League, and also has the most goals involved (13)

Haaland is a good captain for fantasy managers who want to bet on the odds. Haaland has six goals in this season’s road campaign, with four great chances to score. Chelsea has not kept a single clean sheet over their last four matches.

Son Heung-min

  • Fixed: Wolves(A); predicted points 6.9

Son Heung Min’s 52 fantasy points, six goals and exemplary road record for Spurs has elevated him to the conversation of captain. In the past four weeks, he has also been in good form with two goals. In terms of points, only Mohamed Salah is ahead of him this season.

Son has only scored twice in his ten appearances against Wolves, but he is still a concern for the captain. Son, as the Spurs striker and the only player to have played for Wolves this season, will be confident of scoring against Wanderers.

Mohamed Salah

  • Fixed: Brentford, (H); predicted points 6.9

Mohamed Salah is still a strong contender for captain of the team, given that he’s scored every home match this season. In this season, he has scored six goals from five appearances at home and is a consistent attacker.

Salah has also had a good record with Brentford. He scored two goals against them in his three matches. Mark Flekken, the first-choice goalkeeper of his opponents’ team who had a broken leg and was replaced at halftime last week against West Ham could not play.
