FPL Gameweek 11, Best midfielders for cheap

  • You can play up to two wildcards and a bench boost chip, as well as a free-hit.
  • Fantasy Football Hub was created to turn FPL managers into FPL champions.
  • Bragging rights are at stake when you compete against friends, colleagues and family members

Fantasy Football Hub was designed to help FPL managers become FPL champions. The Hub’s industry-leading artificial intelligence and the expert team revealers who announce their teams each gameweek are just two of the reasons why tens or thousands of managers get the advantage with it every season. If you join the Hub and don’t succeed in your mini-league you will get all your money back. The Terms and Conditions are applicable.

A midfielder’s FPL has seen a significant amount of transfer activity this week due to the injury suffered by assist machine Pedro Neto, and omissions for Martin Odegaard from Arsenal.

There are many cheap alternatives who will provide a different haul while Erling Haaland or Mohamed Salah, the regular big-hitters continue to perform.

Here are the top cheap midfielders for FPL Gameweek 11 as predicted by Fantasy Football Hub using its AI points Predictions tool.

Bryan Mbeumo

  • Match: West Ham United vs. West Ham United (H); Points predicted: 5.8

Bryan Mbeumo has been on a high since he scored the most FPL Points during the break. The managers who had him for four straight blanks have been pleased with his return. He is now a good long-term investment given the many ways he can score points.

Mbeumo is third in the league for anticipated goal involvements with 9.3, only behind Erling Haaland, and Mohamed Salah. Mbeumo, a Cameroon national with a lot of shots and chances created for teammates is also on penalties when Ivan Toney is absent. West Ham have not kept a clean-sheet on their travels this season, so he should be able to benefit from the home match this weekend.

Anthony Gordon

Gordon plays a crucial role in Stu Forster’s/Getty Images squad that is plagued by injuries.

  • Match: Arsenal, (H); Points predicted: 4,9

Anthony Gordon is in line to be the best fantasy bargain this season. With a few players injured, he will likely start the Newcastle attacks. Harvey Barnes, a fellow left-winger at Newcastle United is also out for the rest of the season. With Callum Wilson injured and Alexander Isak’s minutes being managed by Callum Wilson, Gordon may even be able to play in a forward role.

Gordon has scored the most FPL Points of any Newcastle attacker, thanks to his three goals and four assist from 10 starts in this season. In four of the last six matches, he has also played 90 minutes. If you’re looking for midfielders in this price range, don’t let the tougher fixture at this weekend deter you.

Moussa Diaby

  • Match: Nottingham Forest A; Predicted points: 5.8

Moussa Diby, of Aston Villa, was the biggest surprise of Gameweek 10. He scored a goal at Luton Town and had an assist for his best haul this season. This return gives investors the confidence to believe that Diaby can match up his strong underlying statistics.

Diaby was able to excel against Luton because of a subtle shift in the positioning of Matty Cash and Leon Bailey. In the last four weeks, he has had nine attempts on goal and made seven crucial passes. Nottingham Forest hasn’t managed to keep a blank at home this season. They have conceded six goals in the last four games.
