Dom Telford’s second-half strike earned Barrow, in good form, a 1-0 League Two win against Crawley.
Telford scored his fourth goal of the season just 33 seconds into the match, as Pete Wild’s team won their fifth consecutive game in any competition.
Crawley, however, believed that the match-winning goal of the striker should have been disallowed because Emile Acquah fouled Will Wright early on in the game’s buildup.
Barrow’s win in the latest League Two game cemented their sixth-place finish and extended their unbeaten streak to eight matches.
Bluebirds were supposed to be ahead before half-time. Acquah missed a chance to score when he hit the upright, and also missed a 1-on-1 with Luca Ashby Hammond. Elliot Newby came close twice as well.
Scott Lindsey’s visitors were in control of the ball but had fewer opportunities. Barrow was grateful for the saves of Paul Farman from Klaidi and Kellan Gordon.
