Taelor O’Kane equalised in stoppage time as Fylde, a struggling team from the National League, drew 2-2 with Halifax on Saturday at the MBi Shay Stadium.
Half an hour into the game, O’Kane scored at the far post.
Halifax changed the course of the match in the second half when Jack Hunter scored just past the hour-mark before Rob Harker finished the job from the inside of the box.
Danny Whitehead, who was playing for Fylde at the time of his dismissal, was dismissed with just four minutes left. The decisive moment occurred in the final seconds when O’Kane nodded home the ball for the second consecutive night. This was a crucial point that the team from the bottom two needed.
