There are many ways of measuring the career success, but trophies is the most common.
Harry Kane, for example, is a great example. Many people will write off players and teams who are considered to be exceptional because they lack trophies.
He spent most of his professional career as one the top strikers of the world and, at times, the very best. He has never won any major trophies for either club or nation. It is due to the fact that he played for Tottenham a club which last won silverware in 2008 – the League Cup.
Kane’s arrival at Bayern Munich was expected to bring him his first trophy in no time. Kane was offered four trophies at the beginning of the season. However, the easiest two to win were already eluded him and Bayern Munich.
Kane was eligible for four different club trophies at the beginning of this season. Here’s where he is in each.
DFL Supercup

Harry Kane made his debut as a sub with Bayern Munich, needing only to win one match of football in order to claim his first trophy. Harry Kane started as a substitute for the Super Cup match against RB Leipzig.
It was not as good as it sounded for the English forward. Bayern had a poor start to the match. Leipzig players Lois Openda and Dan Olmo were impressive. They were 2-0 ahead before Thomas Tuchel introduced Kane in the 63rd.
Olmo completed his hattrick five minutes later from the spot of the penalty and it became clear that Bayern would not score four goals with Kane in the game. Kane would have to wait until the end of the season for him to win a trophy.
DFB Pokal

Kane’s first trophy could be won in the DFB Pokal. This is Germany’s domestic cup and it is considered one of Europe’s best. The DFB Pokal is a very important competition for the German clubs. Its draw system often produces some incredible upsets. This is more similar to the FA Cup in English football than it is the Carabao Cup.
Kane has unfortunately been the victim of a foul. After overcoming Preussen-Munster in the opening round, Bayern was drawn against Saarbrucken. This team is from the third tier of German football. Bundesliga is the German third-tier football league. The B-teams of many top clubs are based here. Saarbrucken is not only two leagues lower than Bayern but also 15th after only 11 matches.
The lead that Bayern had taken early in the game was erased by goals scored in each of the two stoppage times, with the winning goal coming in the 96th minutes from Marcel Gaus. It may seem that Bayern’s first XI is full of kids, but this is not the case.
Thomas Muller started with Leroy Sane. Joshua Kimmich was also present. Alphonso Davis, Matthijs de Ligt and Manuel Neuer were all in attendance. Jamal Musiala was introduced during the match, along with Kingsley Coman, and Serge Gnabry. The players came in with a half-hour to go.
Kane might feel incredibly bad about missing this trophy, but he had no control over the situation because Tuchel never hired him. Bayern expected to win the DFB Pokal every year, but both trophies are now gone.
Champions League

Champions League is by far the most difficult trophy to achieve, but also the one Kane is likely to be looking to obtain. It’s good to know that Bayern is still involved in this game.
They are not only still there, but also look like they will be able to make it through the 16th round with ease as they lead Group A on nine out of nine. The team is five points ahead of second-placed Galatasaray and six points above Manchester United, who are third. The group winner will most likely qualify to the knockout stages and they will do so almost definitely.
It is impossible to predict the outcome of anything beyond that. Bayern are the most recent winners of the tournament in 2020 and are among the favorites, but you’d be more likely to back a few other teams before they do. Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City are all arguably better right now than Bayern, so it’d be amazing if they won it this year.
Bundesliga

It would be a terrible thing for Kane to have the Bundesliga not won by Bayern for the first time since 2011/12. They are currently not in the top three of the Bundesliga.
Bayern is second after nine matches. They were third until last week. Bayer Leverkusen are two points in front of the champions. Many believe that they can be real contenders under Xabi Alono and will fight to the bitter end.
Fans will naturally assume that Borussia Dortmund is the top team if Bayern Munich aren’t. The two sides are currently only separated by 2 points and will face off next. Stuttgart is also in contention, but it’s likely that they won’t last. RB Leipzig, ranked fifth in the table is also worth considering given their quality.
Bayern is still the favorite to win, as they have done this countless times and they have the strongest squad.
Kane has his best shot at winning the trophy in this year’s league, and he certainly is contributing to that, having scored 12 goals so far and gotten five assists.
