Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga suffered an injury to his knee ligaments while on duty for France.
On Wednesday morning, the 21-year old injured his knee after colliding with Ousmane Debele.
According to a statement released by the La Liga team, Camavinga has suffered a tear in the lateral collar ligament. He had played every game of the league this year.
There is no time frame for the return of his son.
Carlos Ancelotti continues to suffer from injuries, with Camavinga becoming the fourth Real Madrid player to miss time due to a knee injury.
The Brazilian team lost 2-1 to Columbia on Thursday. Vinicius Junior, the winger who played for them in that match suffered a leg injury.
Both goalkeeper Thibaut Courois and the defender Eder Militao have been sidelined for a long time after having surgery to repair their anterior cruciate ligaments.
The ongoing injury to Arda Guler’s knee has prevented him from making his Real debut.
Camavinga, aged just 17 and 9 months old at the time of his debut against Croatia in the Uefa Nation League in September 2020 became France’s youngest senior international in 106 years.
He extended his Real Madrid contract earlier this month to extend it until 2029.
