After a second impressive performance for England, midfielder Jude Bellingham plans to remain with Real Madrid.
Madrid’s summer star was in the thick of it, as he won a penalty at Wembley and grabbed an assist. The Three Lions qualified for Euro 2024 with their 3-1 victory over Italy on Tuesday.
He said, “I’m getting better every time I play.”
The fact of the matter is that I must deliver with the big transfer, be it a goal, an assist or even a winning performance.
“[Madrid] will be my club for the next 5 to 10 years.”
I love it. Carlo [Ancelotti] said that this is the position he envisions for me.
I am enjoying football right now. “My management, both at my club and for the national team, allows me to play football as I want.”
Gareth Southgate chose to have Bellingham play a role that was more complex in London and he received a dominating performance.
Bellingham said: “I have worked on timing for the past few months and I’m arriving at the box with an enormous appetite.
It was an amazing night. “We all remember the last time they came here a few year ago.
You should always strive for progress. “We are moving in the right directions and this is a big win for us.”
