- Arsenal hope to respond to two consecutive defeats
- Gunners have two wins from their opening three Champions League games
- Mikel Arteta’s side won 2-1 away at Sevilla in October
After a run of two consecutive defeats, Arsenal will look to get back to winning ways when Sevilla head to the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.
A 3-1 loss to West Ham United was followed by the hugely controversial 1-0 loss to Newcastle, but manager Mikel Arteta must now switch his attention to Europe. Arsenal are sitting pretty at the top of Group B but a poor result here would blow the standings wide open.
Sevilla, who fell to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of the Gunners last month, are unbeaten in their last three games and will head into this fixture with some confidence that a positive result can be achieved.

Arsenal vs Sevilla score prediction
Arsenal sorely lacked creativity against Newcastle and Odegaard’s likely absence won’t help in that regard, but Arteta will expect significantly more from the rest of his players as they seek a much-needed response.
The Gunners are the better team in this fixture and they should come out on top against a Sevilla side who, while no longer losing regularly, have yet to figure out how to win games. Just two of their last 11 outings have ended in victory, although their only losses in that period came against Barcelona and Arsenal.
Expect a gritty affair which may end with Arteta’s side celebrating an uncomfortable victory.
